"Poetry & Rhymes" by William Hancock

“She’s,.. .”

She's,.. .

‘She’s my fourth of July,

My one and only,

My teammate, my pal,

Never I’m lonely.

.

‘She’s funny you know,

The way she laughs,

The way she smiles,

Even her sass.

.

Some say, she’s not pretty,

But to me, she is,

‘She’s beautiful, and loving,

Yet mean as piss.

.

‘She’s my bestest best friend,

My favorite pass time,

My pain in my rear,

And yep!

.

“She’s all mine”

  10. I was taken with this poem immediately; how beautifully it traces true love… So true that we can NOT love unless we can take the good with the bad that comprizes us all! Yes! The title instantly makes you want to know more. It’s rather ingeniously constructed, and a wonderful tribute. I really do feel we’re part ourselves and part those who influence us.
