The night’s no longer,
“I’ve come you see,
“Governments of death,
“For lack of plenty,
“Yes, you see,
And with his hand,
.
“I’ve Come”
The night’s no longer,
Nor is the day,
Of endless hunger,
Nor men astray.
For with a thunder,
God did say,
“No more plunder,
Nor evil ways.”
“I’ve come you see,
To put a stop
To mans disease,
Like days of Lot.
Men do tease,
With evil thought,
On bended knees,
They smite the rock.”
“Governments of death,
Nations of plutocracy,
Where evil nests,
Devouring democracy.
The people’s best,
Full of bureaucracy,
Never they rest,
In all their hypocrisy.”
“For lack of plenty,
The people starve,
Deprived of money,
Society marred.
What some think funny,
Leave others scarred,
Bees and honey,
Are forever barred.”
“Yes, you see,
With a hunger,
I’ve come to thee,
To cure my blunder.
You and me,
And all my wonder,
I take from thee,
And do so smother.”
And with his hand,
The night was no longer,
Nor was the day.

even in the saddest of images you paint with your words,
the beauty of the Divine will always shine through the sad…..
hope is still felt in between the lines for even just one to see
a way to help heal this sacred place we live in
I always think God gives us many angels to help
I know a few 🙂
Thank you for sharing such vivid thoughts

your words seem to echo…I came back to reread …
if I may ask?
do you think God would take away the night and day?
I know all the evil and corruptness, mayhem, greed and on and on…
but to take away the night and day for everyone?
I don’t fear God, He is complete unconditional love, as we are part of Him, created of Him….then He is deep within each of us, some may block Him out, and as He gave the gift of Free Will , He must have known that some would…
so if He takes the day and night, and all the pieces He has Given of Himself within us, then He would take away Himself in doing so….
could He ever recover all that is lost within? yes He is God…but surely it would break His heart …
I think Heaven is already here…each time someone opens to see past man’s reality of progress, and finds we actually have everything we need to be the human in humanity
the us in Trust, the “Be” in believe ..Then we bring more of Heavens grace out in the open for more to see, more to Believe ..I see Heaven here not some faraway place..
I hope I am helping create it with my thoughts and deeds…and taking care of my small piece of earth I inhabit
this post you shared sure makes me think…
Hope things are well within your neck of the woods…
Take Care Bill…You Matter…

I’m actually somewhat speaking in metaphors, about the wickedness of our times and judgement. The poem is meant to stir the awe and curiosity of the mind. Glad it made you think of things.. . 😉 Mary ❤
